Historic Prospect Place Estate

Friends of Prospect Place:

We are making some changes to the way we conduct business for 2009 I thought everyone should be aware of. All ghost hunting fees will be due no later than two weeks before the date of a scheduled hunt. Employees will no longer deal with cash at the door after 1 April. Fees should be paid via check or money order and mailed to the Adams Center. We are working on taking credit card payments over the phone/web and will let everyone know when this is possible.

Prospect Place will begin to operate like most other facilities that offer ghost hunts. Beginning in December 2009 Prospect Place will close for the winter. This means the estate will be unavailable between 19 December 2009 and 1 April 2010. Ghost hunts will only be offered between April and December 2010 and from then on this schedule will prevail. This will cut overhead costs for the Adams Center and help during the credit crisis. So be sure to schedule early in 2009 because as always there are only so many dates on the calendar and less so now.

We have decided to NOT to increase the cost of hunts for 2009. The cost will remain at $50.00 per person for the year. There are also dates at the reduced cost of $25.00 per person still available for next month (February 2009) but March is now booked for weekend dates.
