Attention all Ghost Hunters!!
Paulette and I are currently trying to get a group together on Saturday, February the 23rd for a meeting. We would like to get as many people as possible together during the day to just sit down and discuss anything pertaining to ghost hunting, equipment, techniques, etc.
The cost of attending the meeting would be $25 and would be open from noon to 6 p.m. We would have plenty of time to explore the mansion and try out some of the information we gain from the meeting. It would also be an opportunity for those selling or wanting to buy equipment. This part of the fee can be paid "at the door" but the regular GH fees still need to go through George. Please contact me at darkstar013@msn.com for additional information. I would also like to know if you are going to attend so we can make sure we have things ready.
Winter is a hard month for the mansion. This is basically a fund raiser for Prospect Place and all money raised will go directly to the G. W. Adams Educational Center to help with expenses and restoration.
If we have enough people reserve a place for the Ghost Hunt that night, Paulette and I will pay to have the mansion closed for the night.
Please bring snacks or drinks. We'll supply coffee, tea, and hot chocolate as well as other goodies Paulette and I can come up with.
Please feel free to contact your friends and co-workers interested in the paranormal.

Okay, guys. We love Prospect Place and this is a great way to share our passion! Get wound up, find some of your best pictures, EVPs, stories, experiences, and all your neet ghosthunting equipment together and let's do this thing right! Post and let us know that you will come so we can get things set!

I'll be there, may bring others. I'll bring some apps also. Since I'm in the catering business, I can bring the plates, napkins, forks, so on. I have a bunch of that stuff in stock.

If you go to the day get-together for $25 donation each, $25 will be deducted from the ghost hunt if you wish to stay for the night hunt! You'll still have to reserve a spot with George if you want to do the hunt that night, but the total "payment" will be minus the $25 you already paid.....That way, if we get enough response for the ghost hunt, we can close the night off for just the get-together group....ya know? We may learn something from others that we may like to try during a real investigation after dark. JUST REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR STORIES AND PICTURES AND STUFF TO SHARE!!!!

Thanks Randy! I have a few people wanting to attend from the hospital. A LOT will depend on the weather.
I have some of the "ghost hunting for beginners" books made up for any newbies. I am hoping to make some rods to share with everyone. I'm hoping Veronica will be able to come and show Paulette and I how to do the table tipping thing. Of course I'll have my letter board and pendulum as well. That should give people a good variety of things to try.

I am so pumped for this. It's so great that there's been such a good response! I'm excited to meet everyone I see on the forum everyday. I reserved a room for the evening, so it'll be fun. I'm so curious to know what others are experiencing. I hope it all goes well. And I'm planning on bringing some yummy food!

I'll be there no matter what! And I'm hoping that there are enough ghosthunters locally that won't care how the weather is that can make it for the festivities as well! It's going to be so great! Experience, non-experience.....Ghosthunter talk! Woo-hoo!

When the lights go out and DARKNESS surrounds you.........who will hear your screams...........will you hear your name being whispered from beyond..........will a hand reach out from another realm to touch you........will you hear the footsteps coming towards you from the DARKNESS...........will you see the Shadowman when you are alone in the Dark..........What will be will be...........Expect the unexpected when you least expect it!
I will see you all on the 23rd of Feb
until then
DARKNESS

Geesh Randy You talking about you or a ghost. I remember a long time ago you sneaking up on me and the other Randy and scaring the crap out of us. I'm so excited! Hopefully there will be good food too! I'm bringing lots of goodies! Hey, bacon wrapped chestnuts attract people at bridal shows, maybe they'll attract those from the other side too. Who can resist bacon? I'm just now in the process of getting someone to come with me. They're all wimps. I reserved a room, and by gully, I'm brave, but I didn't sleep very well last time I stayed at Prospect, so I really can't stay alone My birthday is the next day on the 24th. I just can't wait. It'll be so great to see what others do, and have seen.

I'm trying to think of something to bring that'll be good finger food that'll be satisfying and still be "mobile" so we can carry on our discussions! (Clean up is a thought, also...don't want a lot of mess to have to clean up...haha) But, I'll think and add my two cents before the 23rd so you'll know what your stomach can expect...okay? Remember, anyone who's coming, please try to bring some little thing that might be good for such a thing...you don't have to "work" at preparation; just anything small to provide variety....candy....cookies....fruit...ya know? I don't really care..It's going to be a great get-together!

I've decided on water chestnuts in bacon and stuffed italian mushrooms (the mushrooms maybe if George lets me use his oven) and I'll bring the plates, forks, napkins, and cups for the beverages too. Trust me, I have all this stuff in stock so it's no big deal. On the coffee, I can bring the sugar/sweet n low packets/creamer if you like. Let me know, again, I'm a caterer, I have all this stuff and it's no problem to bring it.
