Historic Prospect Place Estate

I haven't gotten to go out to the mansion for some time and wonder what's been happening. Is anyone willing to share with us any experiences they may have had recently?? I miss it and wish you could keep me up on the activity.....anyone seen or heard anything from the infamous Bounty Hunter???? (Every time we visited, there was always activity....some slight, some very haunting.)

I check on here every few days and haven't seen anything. Think it could be because everyone is busy with the summer?

I was there last month and stayed the night. It was very quiet. Shadows, a few evps of a man's voice that big mamma caught. About five in the morning there was a man and music (old music) in the hallway. I was too tired and half chicken to open the door, but it sounded as if he was just yelling out the song as loud as he could. This happened twice, but like I said, I wasn't going to investigate it myself, lol. Everyone else was in bed. It was too quiet for me.

There seems to be something going on with that hallway! Last time we were there, some activity went on in the hall. First time, we heard people talking, thought it was the rest of our group, not the case. Second time I woke up hearing what sounded like our equipment being taken down, I figured the other members of our group beat me up and were taking it down. I go out there, nothing they weren't even up yet.

That same night we were there, there were some girls that didn't stay all night, but had been in the boys room and heard music. I told them the only music in the house was what George would be playing in his room (possibly his TV), and I didn't think you could hear it clear up in the boys room. Also Patti once saw a victorian dressed lady walking towards the door where the girl fell....in broad daylight. Patti called out to her and she disappeared. Yeah, it's kind of creapy...the singing I heard. It was so real.

Awesome!! What areas are off limits these days?? And, can you wander into the barn at all? Has anyone gotten anywhere with the story of the little girl who fell off the Portico outside the upstairs parlor??? Didn't records show that Constance died at 21 of "consumption?" it just fascinates me, all the history of the mansion and yet hearing only the oldest tales.... Did only those members of the household during the late 1850's and earliest 1900's remain in the house long enough to shape it's paranormal history??? Only those persons were affected strongly enough to have their souls remain imprinted on the place?????? (Sometimes I feel like, if I were to die now, my soul would frequent the mansion because of my love for it....) Any takers on that theory???

I WAS AT THE MANSION 2 WEEKENDS AGO. THE GROUP THAT WAS THERE DIDNT REPORT MUCH ACTIVITY BUT ONE OF THEM HAD AN AWESOME PIC OF THE BOUNTY HUNTER!! THE PIC SHOWED A MAN IN THE LEFT-HAND WINDOW OF THE 2ND FLOOR OF THE BARN. HE HAD ON A LONG-SLEEVED COAT AND A HAT AND WAS A SOLID AS COULD BE! I ASKED FOR A COPY BUT HAVENT HEARD BACK FROM THEM.
I HADNT HEARD OF ANYONE HEARING MUSIC ON THE 2ND FLOOR BEFORE.
DOES THIS HAPPEN AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME? I WILL BE THERE AGAIN TOMORROW NIGHT AND WILL LISTEN FOR IT

As far as the music....the two investigators (whom I don't know) were in the boys room, sometime early in the evening because Lori left after she gave the tour, and they had asked me about music in the hallway. I told them I had never heard of anything, ask Lori if she thinks it could be George's room, she said no, not that far away. When I heard the man singing to the music it was around five-six in the morning. I was in Constance's room (they call it the upstairs family room also...the one that is burgundy and green with the computer in it). Anyways I was in the bed right next to the wall by the door. That's why I felt I could hear it so well, It was just outside the door. And you know, lol, about four years ago, long before that room was fixed up, I was standing on the outside of that room in the hall, just in front of the door way and got my butt pinched by someone, lol. It's funny how the hot spots of the mansion change from time to time.

HOME AGAIN FROM DOING A TOUR AT THE MANSION. MOST OF THE GROUP HAD BEEN THERE BEFORE SO I DIDNT HAVE TO STAY ALL NIGHT. ONLY 4 WOMEN NEEDED THE TOUR BUT THEY WERE GETTING ALL KINDS OF ACTIVITY!!
FIRST JUST A QUICK COMMENT ABOUT MUSIC. WE HEARD IT ALL THROUGH THE MANSION--UNFORTUNATELY, NOTHING PARANORMAL. THE HOMECOMING WAS GOING ON IN DRESDEN AND WE GOT A FREE CONCERT LOL.
AS FOR THE ACTIVITY-THE GROUP WAS IN THE GENTLEMAN'S PARLOR AND I STEPPED OUT TO TOSS THE CAT OUT AGAIN AND THE ROUND 3-LEGGED TABLE IN THE ROOM WITH MAGAZINES ON IT TIPPED OVER WHEN NO ONE WAS NEAR IT!
A SENSITIVE IN THE GROUP WAS PICKING UP A WOMAN IN THE BOYS ROOM-DONT KNOW WHO THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN BUT SHE WAS NOT HAPPY WE WERE THERE! ONE WOULDNT GO IN AND ANOTHER GOT A BAD FEELING THERE.
ONE GOT A SINGLE, BRIGHTLY GLOWING ORB ON THE FAR SIDE OF THE BALL ROOM. 2 OF US GOT A STATIC FEELING IN THE PIT ROOM IN THE BASEMENT AND ONE GOT 2 GLOWING ORBS IN THE WINE CELAR (THE LONG ROOM ON THE SIDE OF THE BASEMENT WITH NO DOOR OR WINDOWS)
NOT A FULL MOON BUT THIS WAS THE MOST ACTIVE TOUR I'VE GIVEN YET. I'M KINDA SORRY I'M MISSING OUT ON THE REST OF THE NIGHT LOL!

I remember we were there one time and a football game was going on and you could hear the band playing ! How close would that have been to the house? I'm not from the area and don't know much about it.

I have this theory and it may be far fetched but it's been most accurate everytime we have went. To me it seems that the more we go the more the activity there has been. Now everytime we have went, we have taken someone new with us. (I WILL go sometime and not have a new person darn it...LOL) But, 1 of 2 things happen. Either the "original" people who started going get the most ( and the new ones if they are with the old schoolers lol) or 2 the 2nd night is far more active. Now maybe it's just coinsidence but I think that maybe "they" are shy or a least some of them. The basement for example would be the big one where I noticed that. So, is it possible that down there are some of the slaves going to freedom and they don't know who the new person is and are scared of them? Dunno like I said maybe that is just me reading into it. I kind of still thing that they live on a different plane of existence as us anyway. We could be walking side by side and not even know it. It all just boggles my mind so much to research and so little time. Have a good weekend everyone. I'm off to the smokey mountains...I'll check in as long as I don't get eaten by a bear.
