In general I find that ghost carry over the person's personality they were when they were living. So even a good person can have a bad day or vise versa. Children, up until the age of 6 to 7 tend to be more receptive to ghost and therefore tend to be able to see them more so than adults. Children's eye are also more sensitive into the IR range than adults and the can hear higher frequencies than adults can. With all this being said, yes the ghost could have been playing peek a boo with her. :>)
