I'm a huge technology "geek". What kind of equipment is everyone using or wanting to get their hands on right now?

I really want an air ion counter. Ive heard some interesting things about experiments other groups have been doing with them. It sounds like they might be one of the most accurate tools available for detecting ghosts.

I would love to have a thermal camera - but I don't have enough in the wallet for that pricy item right now. Ion counter sounds nice too.

We currently use EMF meters, tri-field meter, digital IR temp gauge, video camera with 100 ft Infra-red scope and super night shot, Olympus digital voice recorders and Olympus 5.1 MP digital camera with night shot. Sometimes copper dowsing rods and pendulums.

I'd like to have one of those thermal imaging cams also.

Everyone wants a thermal imaging system.... We've got one. (FLIR)

So far it has done a great job of checking our homes for heat loss, in fact we've even made a few dollars on the side doing just that for people around here.

But in the paranormal arena it's batting 000. We haven't got a thing with it on any investigation we've used it on. FYI, we got ours second hand as a factory refurbished unit, saved a few dollars that way.

Imaging that, getting nothing on a thermal cam at prospect. I can't believe it.

To my knowledge, Caverat hasn't been to Prospect Place to USE the FLIR unit. If I recall he's looking forward to his visit in June to try it out there.
