 Post subject: Seminar???
PostPosted: Sat Sep 29, 2007 9:44 am
Is there any chance that there might be something set up in the form of a seminar that could help familiarize visitors with a little more detail on the Undergraound Railroad and the particular efforts of the Adams Family to aid in the transport of the refugees that made it to the Muskingum county location on their trek to freedom?
And could there be something set up to train persons in the art of "ghosthunting" so that others understand more clearly how to differentiate between spirit activity and the noisy environment? Most people love Prospect Place because of it's intrigue and mystery; I just think some would really love to take the time to "know" more about it ..
Can we take a poll?

We are currently working with the Cleveland group "SPECTRE" and intend to start "ghost hunt workshops" hopefully in the first quarter 2008. These should also include historical overview lectures. We are also considering creating an educational video which will elaborate the role of the estate in the Underground Railroad.

I know a lot as been going on, with the transfer of responsibility and hope of new future grant moneys and so on, but I wonder how things have progressed in the form of the educational DVD..( Looking forward to a busy Spring and Summer this year so we can possibly set up more souvenir availability for those of us who love PP.)
