I actually thought the editing created a pretty good impression of the place. I thought I saw a "Welcome to Virginia" sign during the beginning montage of state signs (but I could be wrong). You don't need to go through Virginia to get to Ohio from Rhode Island. _________________ myspace.com/is300lex

But according to them they weren't really convinced that it was the bounty hunter. Last time I was there they talked about the carriage house being a dangerous place. Anyone ever have any dangerous things happen to them? About the girl. Has anyone ever contacted the Cox family about her? They all still live around the place. Out Gene Cox Memorial Drive and that area up by Adams Mills.

i was a bit disapointed too. Thought they could have shown more as well. They didn't show any evp work hardly. They didn't show the review either. I'm not dissing them either but i think we are just all partial to the place.
Never thought of the aspect of having to hold the body down there while they prepared. Good theory there. I just knew the ground couldn't be frozen with her dieing in Sept.

The show itself wasn't bad, I keep trying to tell everyone that IT WAS NOT CONSTANCE who fell but another girl. I am glad that whatever it is in the barn made a appearance, I however don't feel it's a bounty hunter but something else.......I have my own theories about what is inside there......
They didn't debunk Prospect Place but also didn't say it was Haunted either........ Remember for those of you that visit Prospect Place or anyother Place that is Haunted that you will have off nights and as I like to say Expect the unexpected when you least expect it.............
All in all it should help Prospect Place and that's what we are all there for! _________________ Expect the Unexpected when you least expect it!

My sister and I spent a night at Prospect and we never saw any bats inside or outside. I do not think TAPS did as good of a job as they could have. I still enjoyed seeing Prospect on T.V. And I can't wait to visit Prospect again. _________________ Id rather be ghost hunting

Hello ALL,
I also was a little upset that TAPS only did a half hour show. I was looking forward to them searching more than they did, maybe the weather was just to cold for them and they will come back during a warmer time.
I was glad the Bounty Hunter did show up to see what they were doing.
Also George, you look good on the screen!!!!!!!!!!

I loved it when Steve pulled up and said, "This place is creepy!" I was at Prospect in October, and it was the deadest I've ever seen it. I had a few personal experiences, but it was just not happening as far as evidence. So I do agree with Randy, it's not going to be "happening" every night. But...weren't they there longer than one night? The bat thing....lol....think they wasted a little too much footage on that. Never saw a bat in there either, but accept that they are there. But....don't believe that is the reason people get feelings up there in the ball room that someone's up there with you. Funny...the footsteps they experienced, I've experienced that too, where it walks right up to you and just stops. Cute how they tried to get the ball moving. They really should've waited in the basement for a while. Were they rushed? I don't get it. Maybe our Prospect friends didn't want to be filmed. On to the barn. At first I thought it could be a cat. I remember Patti telling me they locked the cats in a vehicle. It almost looked like a cat sitting there watching. The yellow cat likes to sit there in that exact spot sometimes (he actually followed Patti and I to the barn once and did that exact thing). But then for it to change shape. I'm sure it was just too cold for the investigators. Patti and I went out to that barn in Feb. and it was just soooo cold we couldn't stay even though we wanted to.
I do hope they return in better weather, but probably won't. I'm sure they're very busy. I do wish people would get the girl story correct though. It was like they were throwing it in George's face for a reaction or something. Wierd editing, but that's tv for you.

Sorry, that is the Peg/Richard Cox family. No relation to George Cox/Constance Cox/Anna-Adams Cox, etc. There are a few Cox relatives mostly on the east coast and in the south.
Peg knows quite a bit about the history but I doubt she would know anything about the little girl other than what most local legends say.

I will diss them, there investigation sucked and the editing was even worse. I hate to say this but when they were looking at the barn the temp was -4 degrees which is 9 degrees below the operating temperature for the thermo that they were using. The camera shows -4 because that is the lowest it is capable of showing. I am sorry but not knowing your equipment is not good investigating.
I also thought that I heard one of the guides say that slaves had been sacrificing animals in the ball room. I thought this was being done by some phycho that is currently in jail.
I hate to say it but the figure they showed in the barn to me looks like a cat on tivo you can see the legs and the tail that is actually in front of the brick. However, before they mention the black shape there is a long shape that is almost a green color in the window. But they never mentioned it. So I think they might have caught something but not what they mentioned.
I can't wait to get back to prospect for on investigation. _________________ Digital Recorder .............................. $ 55

Darkness, I agree with you on the Constance thing. When we found the info, we just wanted the truth out there. I would hate to think of my name being drug around in something not true after my passing. But, now it's out there on national tv. I would love to hear your theories on the barn. I have a few on the house myself.

As far as Jason and his team's investigation, I think it left much to be desired....but it WAS really cold out. They didn't show any evaluation of any of their DVDs, DVRs, or their voice recordings...nor did they mention anything about them. I can't believe a night went down without ONE EVP! And I'm not sure WHAT they were looking for in the barn but it seemed they were satisfied with just the black blotch they saw on the thermal from the outside.....and I don't think it was Tigger 'cause no matter how cold it is outside, his little kitty body would still register "WARM", wouldn't you think?? The bat was a freak occurrance if you ask me. They called the ballroom the "attic" and I'm sure they were told why they could expect to experience children playing up there... And, like "Darkness" said, ghosts don't come out on cue... All that said, George looked and sounded GREAT.. .and the mystery of Prospect Place has been openned up on NATIONAL TV, so, we all have a great deal of questions to find answers to. I'm eager to take time out and do another investigation of my own!! _________________ Assistant Lead Investigator

They edited what I said. I said SATANISTs not slaves. The escaped slaves wouldn't have been in the ballroom for any reason.
They didn't do a real good investigation because it was so cold. I don't blame them for shortening the investigation but they NEED to come back when it's warm out so they can stay in the areas longer.
As far as the bat in the ballroom... Where did a bat come from in the middle of winter when it was bitter cold? _________________ Lead investigator
