I don't believe in provoking from a biblical point of view. I believe in the demonic, and under no circumstances should they be provoked for our own pleasure. Asking them to do parlor tricks (moving things, saying something, or knocking) is just a way of intising them to connect with you. Believe me, I don't even do evp's at Prospect, don't provoke, don't speak to them at all, I experience enough without doing any of that. I've had problems with bringing things home with me from places like that. So I don't try to encourage them to connect with me or do anything for me at all. This is just my belief, and my take on it.
But, I do believe it could work if you had a spirit that wasn't going to tolerate being talked to in that since. But as far as demanding them to do something, no way I don't believe that. They just like any of us are only going to do want we want to do.
